i hate it when my wife (passenger side) unclips the belt a few seconds early as we pull into the driveway and the alarm goes off....so annoying!

you could put the belt around your stomach and put the strap behind you (one that goes over your shoulder). I use to do it when I was a kid because the strap would scratch me and choke me, but now i'm 6'2 and that doesn't apply :)

i agree, but i read somewhere that the seatbelt stuff is all connected to the airbag system, so by mating the wires together, it thinks the seatbelt is done up all the time and it thinks someone is sitting in the seat, so im thinking, if you were in an accident, and had no passenger in the seat, the airbag will still deploy because the car thinks someone is there, making it look a little shady, with this seatbelt thing you still can reverse it by unbuckleing it, but i could be wrong about this whole thing, just my theory based on what i was reading when trying to figure out how to disable it on my 08 si

The passenger air bag should only go off if there is weight in the seat, there is a sensor under the seat for this purpose. Incase you know, a child is in the seat or something. But it ont go off unless there is like ~50lbs or more i think.

yeh yeh your right i would only do drivers side tho :)

I always travel alone. I carry a 9mm pistol in my glove box. If i am ever in an accident, i will use what i have available to me :) LOL! Don't want to see my car hurt :dry:

makes sense, either way, i got the seatbelt clip thing the other day, works like a charm, i will post pics of how it looks later tonight after im done work
