call me stupid but i just tried uploading an image from a flash drive and it didnt work...the file matches the exact dimensions allowed, its only like 400 some kb's-- way under the limit. i pressed import wallpaper, it said loading image, then i looked for it after it was done under "select wallpaper" and nothing was there except the clock image and the three blank image slots -___- any help?

Did you make sure and save the image after you uploaded it? There is an extra step at the end.

errrr...nope. it didnt ask me to save the image after that. does it pop up, or do you have to select it after that? can you list the steps that i missed so i can get it on there? it'd be much appreciated. yesterday was the first time since i've had my car that i've tried customizing any settings on the i
mid.

great...so i went out and looked for the option you said, there is no save wallpaper. theres only choose wallpaper, and delete wallpaper...and before, import wallpaper was there, but ever since i tried the first time and it said loading image, it hasn't been highlighted and i can't choose it. I'm confused :/ does it matter if any other non-jpg files are on the drive? cause im not gonna lie...i took my younger sisters flash drive she uses for school and put my picture on there...not in a folder, in a direct root file. i haven't bought my own flash drive for college yet...can anyone help me troubleshoot for this please?

Well, I won't take the time to censor the pics and post them, but here's what I did.
My carpool buddy and I are quite juvenile and still trade "your mom" jokes. So I made an iMid wallpaper that said "12 Missed Call(s)" with a long list of names and times as if his mom had been calling me every 5-10 minutes the night before.
He laughed so hard he cried.

Images sized correctly but still cuts off top and bottom
Anyone else notice that a correctly sized image still leaves unused pixels at the top and bottom? It seems like the aspect ratio is different for user loaded pictures than the other standard screens.
