2. This camera has component video ( 2 wires, signal and shield ) and power supply (2 wires "+" and "ground")
3. Check out prev posts and find out CRV iMid pinout ( CRVCamera.pdf )
4. iMid connector has pin numbers on it.

Good going Xplorer, are the pins # indicated from the harness behind the imid, I couldnt find the pdf. Regardless, I purchased the cam from the link above, hopefully get this done when it comes in.

Edit: I just ordered the item linked above, how long did it take for you to receive the item. They told me from 2-3weeks......

From what I see, could we complete a circuit using PIN#3 to PIN#4 enabling the "Mode select signal for rearview camera"?

Connect PIN#14 to any wire that becomes hot in R or Reverse Gear (reverse lights).
Connect PIN#19 for camera video signal.
Connect PIN#18 for camera ground.
Connect PIN#20 for camera power.

Also, just wanna make sure, we will be splicing the video wire and crimping all these wires to PINs in this project? or are there capped wires on the harness already? Wanna make sure so I can go buy Connector PINs as well.

I think pin #5 using to switch camera angle, but its only theory. My Camera doesn't support this or I dont know about it.

Xplorer, do the LEDs on that camera you posted a link to come on only when in reverse, or do they replace your normal license plate light?

direct analogue signal on pin 3 to 14 for ground.

Wait a sec...you have a manual transmission...you shifted into reverse with the parking brake on and then got out of the car. How is this possible without killing the engine? Did you just have the ignition in the accessory spot without the car running or something?

to the Imid Wiring harness to hook up the camera. Also, how to insert/attach
the wires to the harness.
