Someone else on here had the idea of doing a prank one. I made one with a big caution symbol that says "PASSENGER CAPACITY EXCEEDED!". So far I'm 3 for 3 in getting people with it! Here it is:

Currently, I'm working on a pirate-themed "Blue Pearl" pin-up nose art style for my Civic sedan.

I'm a graphic designer and illustrator; I can work up something kustom if you'd like. I snagged the TIE fighter targeting computer one from the internet; it's uber geeky, but that's me.

 

Nicely done! The Star Wars one is pretty cool! I guess I need to start thinking of something to put on mine. Lately it's just stayed on the iPod screen which is getting kind of old.

Take the picture you want to use (probably best if it were a .jpg) and put it on a flash drive. Then plug the flash drive into the USB port in the center console. Then I think all you have to do is just hit the Menu button on the steering wheel control and the setting should be in there somewhere.

I haven't actually attempted this yet, but once I find something I like I'll try it out and let you know.

 

ok...showing my age...but I put an image of the original Star Trek Enterprise, shooting blue phasers.....matches the dash lights!!

Process: To make it as simple as possible, take an empty flash drive, and load up an image that you would like to set as your wallpaper.
Details: The image needs to be a JPEG or BMP file and the file size cannot exceed 2MB. Format the image to be 1920 x 936 pixels if you want it to fill the entire screen of the i-MID. If the image is not 1920 x 936, the wallpaper will have black space around the image depending on the shape.

Omg Trimition! I had a great time with my wife with the image you supplied! I had her getting in and out of the car about 10 times. I told her hunny im sorry but you must be to heavy for the car lmao. Anyway when she started using the F word i ended the joke. Her and I had a great laugh! Btw im sleeping on the sofa tonight.

Put the image in the root of a flash drive and plug it into the USB port. Go to menu, customize settings... and then drill into the wallpapers. First you have to "import" it, then it will prompt you to "save" it. Both the import and save operations are lengthy (30s-60s each). It will ask you what slot to save it in (you have 3 slots).

I still can't get my wall paper to work. It either says too big so I go resize it and it just say it doesn't work.

I have it on my thumb drive.

What am I doing wrong?

 

Is it in the root menu? It has to be in the root menu.

Oh if you have issues try pulling the USB and plugging it back in. I had an issue and that solved it.
