i have the same exact car. thinking about doing some mods in a year and was wondering how you got those lights on the bottom? i like them a lot.

Yes, slap a turbo and exaust on it when they come out and put 180-210 to the wheels depending on options and tune.

something as simple as some wider, bigger rims and a tasteful drop can do wonders for the look of your ride its all about Stance

I think a drop is the single best appearance mod for these cars. A stock height Civic with fancy wheels is just a . . . a stock height Civic with fancy wheels. But a dropped Civic with even stock wheels is smoooooth.

I know when I had my EJ8 I wondered if it was worth modding because it was a stock D16Y8, it was auto and it just wasn't a desirable car. Most people told me to swap engines, get a stick and crap like that. (a leg injury in the army says no to manuals) but I just stuck to appearance.

Money has been a very tight issue for me over the past three or so years so I rocked what I had. I made small subtle changes and I think that car turned out great.

To me, that model was always a great looker.

We all have our reasons for getting what we do, whether it's an injury, or to keep the wife happy when there's not enough $$ for a car she can't drive, or whathaveyou. It's all good.

That is still my favorite model of Civic ever. You kept it clean to which is awesome, I see sooooo many of those riced out all to hell and it makes me sad.

Agreed 110%. 6th gen coupes pulled off both the clean and sporty look very well.

a nice suspension (coilovers/springs/sway bars) will make your car handle as well as the Si, exterior modification will make your car look like/better than the si, a turbo kit will let your car drive as fast as a si. My friend has a 2006 civic lx, he did these: SI Sway Bar upgrade, 1" drop springs, Aftermarket Muffler, HIDs, Tints, Window Visor, Speaker Upgrades, SRI. didn't spend alot, no speed upgraded but make his car looks and sound better than any civic lx/ex out there.
